"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Memorial Day - Brevard Zoo

Matt has been wanting to take the boys to the Brevard Zoo for awhile now. We had nothing to do on Memorial Day and decided it would be fun to check it out. We were all SO excited to see the giraffes ready to be fed when we first got there!
We bought the special crackers and found a place to stand while we waited for the giraffe to walk over to our side. Carson and Tanner were not scared at all and Tanner thought the giraffe's sticky tongue was hilarious!
What a fun experience for the boys!
There were so many animals to see! Some top favorites were the gorillas...
This talking parrot...
The sleepy kangaroo...
The HUGE alligators...
And the cute little otter...
The bird aviary was alot of fun too. We got to feed the birds. We were all a little nervous at first, but once you get used to the birds flying around, it was great!
Carson feeding a bird...
Tanner feeding a bird...
A bird drinking from Matt's cup...
And one from mine too!
Tanner loves animals and loved being so up close and personal with the birds!
After the bird aviary, we went on the zoo train!
All aboard!
After the train, we ate lunch, and headed to their awesome splash area. It was so big! The boys loved it!
There was an aquarium in the splash pad.
Swimming lagoon...
Big whale slide...
There was also a sea creature exhibit and the boys got to hold some different animals...

We had such a fun morning at the Brevard Zoo and can't wait to go back!
