"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Big Boy Bed

We've had big changes in our house lately! Today Tanner moved out of his crib and into a toddler bed. He was so excited about his new bed, and Matt and I weren't exactly sure how he'd do.
He did awesome at naptime, never got out of his bed once, and at bedtime, he went right down like a champ! Easiest transition EVER! With Carson, we had to basically trap him in his room with a baby gate, but with Tanner I'm pratty convinced he doesn't realize he can get out of his bed on his own. He slept the entire night (and still does!) and never makes a fuss! Can't believe my little baby is growing so fast!

Aunt Lori's Gingerbread Party

Aunt Lori has a super fun gingerbread house decorating party each December! She works hard building each house the night before and then has a wonderland of candy and icing set up for the kids to go crazy!
Hannah delicately placed each piece of candy on her house, and licked some icing as she built...
Carson did a great job on his house, it looked super yummy!
Tanner ate most of his house, and was so cute with icing all over his face!
It didn't take long before Carson headed straight for the river and wanted to catch minnows with Uncle Steve.
The weather was beautiful and all the kids enjoyed buggy rides and swinging on the tree swing!
Thanks Aunt Lori and Uncle Steve for a fun afternoon!

Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios

We headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios to see the famous Osborne Family lights! We took my parents and Hannah along too, they were so excited on the tram!
The big Christmas tree at the entrance to Hollywood Studios...
Buddies posing in front of the dancing Mickey ears!
The kids were in awe of all the lights (so were the adults!) There are SO many lights and they dance and twinkle to different songs throughout the night.
Having fun on Daddy's shoulders...
My little mini-me...
Can you spot the hidden Mickey ears in the Christmas tree?
Papa and Hannah catching the snow that was falling from the sky!
Enjoying yummy sugar cookies while watching the dancing lights!
What a fun Christmasy night!

Santa's Christmas Tree Forest

We had such a fun day with Hannah, Hadley, and Aunt Mamie at Santa's Christmas Tree Forest! Jamie had never been and we were excited to show her all of the fun stuff there was to do! All 4 together on their first outing!
Carson handled pulling Hannah and Tanner around...
First stop, the giant jumping pillow! These 3 are just the best of friends!
Having fun with my TT!
Bouncing brothers!
Then it was off to the pony rides for the boys!
Hadley was such a good girl! Never cried once and just took it all in!
We visited the petting zoo for a little while. Tanner is definitely our animal lover! He loves the goats! I'm surprised he didn't try to bring one home with us!
Off to the hayride! Daddy taught the boys this fun trick of sticking a piece of hay in your mouth when we went on a hayride at Green Meadows last month. They don't forget a thing!
Aunt Mamie and her beautiful girls!!
The Christmas trees were a bit picked over because so many families had recently been there to cut down their own trees. We hope to do that one day too!
Such a great day with Aunt Mamie and the girls!

Carson's Preschool Christmas Performance

We couldn't wait for Carson's very first Preschool Christmas Performance! We were thinking it would be a few cute songs, but when we got there and looked at the program, we were shocked! Our music teacher, Ms. Aloma, put SO much work into this performance!
We kept TT busy waiting with his very own candy cane :)
The kids were DARLING!!! Matt and I both had big tears in our eyes as they began to sing their first song. They were so good!!! Carson and Hannah both sang their little hearts out. It was adorable!
We were so proud of Carson!!!
After the performance, the kids had cookies and juice. We are so thankful for our preschool and the love they show our children!

Live Nativity

Just call us crazy at this point! Ha! After the botanical gardens, we had heard from our waitress at Crabby Bill's that this local church was doing a live drive thru nativity scene. It looked so awesome, so we decided to do it.
You pull into their parking lot, and then they hand you a cd to play as you drive through the different scenes, the angel coming to Mary, Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem...
Then the nativity scene which had live animals. The boys loved it, and the cd playing in our car made for great conversation about the true meaning of Christmas!
Our spontaneous trip was filled with awesome memories!

Florida Botanical Garden Holiday Lights

After dinner at Crabby Bill's, the boys were doing awesome so we decided to look up some fun holiday events going on around Largo. We found that the botanical gardens in the area had an awesome holiday lights show going on.
They had a gorgeous Christmas tree all lit up!
There was a sidewalk that took you around the gardens where you could see all the lights, it was beautiful!
After looking at the lights, we stopped for a juggling show! The boys were glued and talk about it still!
We visited Santa and Mrs. Claus after the juggling show!
And got some yummy homemade ice cream!
We loved eating our ice cream under the umbrella of holiday lights!
