"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Soup night!

Family dinners are always so much fun, but especially during the holiday season, I am grateful for memories like these. Carson and Hannah (and Tanner too!) are best buds. I love that they are getting old enough to really have conversations, and make memories playing Go Fish at Nana and Papa's...
Tanner has a special bond with his Aunt Mamie. They just "get" each other, and I love how he has his little things he does with everyone. He's Aunt Mamie's cuddle bug...
My mom loves having us all in their house, even if it means pure chaos as 4 (soon to be 5!) kids are running around! She still waits on all of us and makes us sit and eat while she takes care of the kids. She knows how relaxing it is to sit down and eat without having to get up 10 times!
And look at this! Proud parents of their sweet little Lily due to arrive in about 10 weeks! Our family continues to grow and God has definitely blessed us this year! Thankful for all of you! XO

Thanksgiving 2013

Our Thanksgiving morning started off with a big breakfast with Grandma! We made pumpkin pancakes (yum!), eggs, and bacon! We had a nice time spending the morning with her.
Of course we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade! The boys loved all of the floats! Mommy loved the Rockettes performance!
We headed to Ocala by late morning, and of course were greeted with an amazing Thanksgiving spread decorated by my Martha Stewart, Aunt Kim! Her house is so welcoming, and always decked out for Fall!
Our Family of four on Thanksgiving...
We were definitely grateful to have my Grandma with us on this day. The boys love Great Grandma and Pepaw and we enjoy our time spent with them!
The boys got to see how much their soon to be cousin, Lily, is growing in Aunt Brooke's belly!
We had so much family time, it was wonderful!
Who's hungry? Don't worry...the turkey has it under control...
And Hadley probably ate just as much as the adults did! The little miss can eat!
After stuffing ourselves full, we bundled up and headed out on a walk around the neighborhood.
Carson insisted on walking my Aunt and Uncle's dog Brody!
Hannah and Carson got some good soccer practice in...
We enjoyed the cool breeze and hung out in the backyard by the fire...
After dessert, my Aunt made delicious hot cocoa, and we headed to downtown Ocala to ice skate! This was the boys first time ice skating and it was so much fun!
Tanner completely surprised us with his ice skating skills!!
Daddy holding up both boys!
We walked around to see the Christmas lights before heading home.
We loved spending the day with our family and are so thankful to be so close! Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Preschool Feast

I had such a wonderful time spending the entire morning with Carson and his class! The day started with me being able to help his teachers (and Tanner's teachers some too) on little projects around the class. I got to see their morning circle time routine, and just LOVE Carson's teachers so much! They have a fun time together.
Then it was off to set up the feast downstairs in the church kitchen with several other Moms. Here is Carson's place setting...
Each class made their own table decorations. It was such a cute set-up!
The kids came in with their Indian or Pilgrim attire and the Moms served them their meal. Serving 70 kids actually went pretty quickly! Here's Carson's class enjoying their Thanksgiving meal...
Me and my biggest boy at the Pre-K feast! Yes, Mommies dress up too!
A Mom in our class made these super cute turkey cookies! They were yummy too!
Me, Mrs. Sellers, Mrs. Wilson, and Alice's mom Kari...
I got to spend some time with Tanner the Indian too! Such a cutie pie! And he was SO proud of his brown bag full of Thanksgiving crafts! Love my boys and love our Preschool!

The Grand Floridian

After our fun night at Hollywood Studios, we drove over to the Grand Floridian Resort to check out their Christmas decorations! Our 2 handsome boys...
The giant Christmas tree in their lobby...
The Grand Floridian also has a real Gingerbread house on display. The boys thought it looked quite appetizing! I guess that's why they have ropes around the display!
We enjoyed listening to the holiday music that was played on the 4th floor!
Love visiting all of the Disney hotels at the holidays!

Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights

Another fun visit to Hollywood Studios to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights!
The Christmas tree walking in was gorgeous!
Our Ninja Tanner!
We found a hidden Mickey!
Here we go! The lights were beautiful as always!
Manger scene...
Fun night with falling "snow" and yummy cookies and hot cocoa!

Operation Christmas Child

We were excited to participate in Operation Christmas Child again this year! Carson remembered exactly what it was all about from last year, which made it that much more meaningful! The boys shopped for 2 little boys the same age as them.
Proud of their findings!
Tanner's way of packing his shoebox! He needed a little guidance! :)
We wrote letters to the little boys and their families and included our address and a picture of our family in hopes we will hear back from the children that receive our boxes! So thankful for such a wonderful organization! Praying God's love is shown through the boxes we packed this year!
