"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

November Preschool Recap

Carson had another fun month in preschool! He loved hat day!
He wore his Mickey Mouse ears for his hat. He loves his Happy Bunch friends!
The kids dressed up like indians and pilgrims and had fun songs they sang. We loved hearing Carson sing his cute little songs!
The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Carson's class had their own Thanksgiving feast. He was so excited to tell us all about the new foods he ate!
We are SO thankful for Carson and Tanner's school and how much they love our kids!

Family Photo Shoot

We love our good friend Tracy Hougham and the beautiful photography work that she does! We were so grateful that we were able to squeeze in a family photo shoot with her and LOVED every image she captured. Here are some of our favorite ones!

Our sweet 2 1/2 year old Tanner Matthew...

Our handsome 4 year old Carson James...
So blessed by these 2 sweet boys...
Couldn't have asked for a better husband and Daddy!
Daddy and his boys...
Mommy and her boys...

Love our precious family of 4!

Beauty & the Beast Puppet Show

The boys and I had a fun morning at the marionette puppet theater! They give the kids their own tickets for the show...
And let them put the tickets into their ticket box. Carson thought that was so awesome!
The boys were so excited and sat so still on the benches! They couldn't wait for the show to begin!
The stage...
This version of "Beauty and the Beast" was clearly different than the Disney version, but it had enough similarities that Carson understood the story.
Tanner was just as glued to the performance as Carson!
After the puppet show, we passed by Santa at the center of the mall. There was no line and the boys were interested, so we went ahead and visited Santa a little early!
We finished our fun morning with yummy sugar cookies by the Christmas tree!

Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving at my Aunt Kim & Uncle Scott's house in Ocala is like having Thanksgiving with Martha Stewart! My Aunt is a wonderful hostess, her house is decorated beautifully and the food is AMAZING!
She had a fall colored leaf with everyone's name on it marking where their place setting was. Carson was excited when he found his place at the big table!
My Aunt and Uncle had been up since 3am (or earlier!) cooking the turkey. It was so juicy and so yummy!
It took several family members to cut it all up and of course a few hands were reaching in to try a piece!
Our family getting ready for the blessing and meal...
Carson got to say our Thanksgiving prayer this year. He did such a good job. What a big boy!
Dig in!
After such a wonderful meal, we played outside and enjoyed the perfect fall weather!
Tanner went down for a nap (such an easy child who will sleep wherever!) and then some of us went for a much needed walk around their neighborhood. Carson and Tanner loved the animals, and Carson started off walking Snickers.
Then it was bike riding time!
While desserts and the hot chocolate bar were being prepared, my cousins set up the Wii for Carson to play. He LOVED it!
TT woke up and headed straight for the kitty. He loved petting Jackson!
Here are a few snapshots of our family on our fun Thanksgiving day!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! We have lots to be thankful for this year, especially our sweet boys, family and friends. We hope you all had a wonderful day too!

The Bradley's Visit Florida

Our BFF's from Arizona came for 2 weeks during Thanksgiving! God knew that I would need my sweet best friend on this particular week to help in a very difficult and trying time for our family. As stated in previous posts, the month of October and November have been months of figuring out my vertigo issues. Erica literally flew in the day after I had a bad reaction to my third medication, and the day before Matt was scheduled to leave on an out of state hunting trip he had planned months in advance! Needless to say, it was perfect timing to have her by my side and help with the boys! What made this trip so special was that we had fun just staying home and playing instead of our usual running around town doing a million different activities. The boys truly treasured their fun times.
They played baseball, catch, played in the sandbox, and had a blast in the backyard...
Aunt Erica came prepared to do several different crafts with the kids. They made the cutest reindeer crafts using their handprints!
Erica drove me everywhere I needed to go. She picked the boys up from preschool, did grocery runs, made me lunch, and provided dinner one night too. I couldn't have survived the week without all of her help! One afternoon we ventured to the playground. Although I had to sit most of the time, she managed to swing all 3 of them all by herself!

We rented lots of movies and just hung out. It was so special to see the boys spend so much quality time together.
On the last night of Erica and Benson's whole week with us, we got the boys ready for bed, and Aunt Erica read Carson and Benson stories. Carson had acted a little funny in the afternoon on this day, but we didn't think much of it, until I checked on him before Erica and I went to bed and realized he had a fever. With Thanksgiving being the following week, and Erica and the rest of the Bradley family heading out to a fun beach house for the week, we needed to get Benson away from Carson. Our fun sleepover had to end (when it rains it pours!).
Thankfully we were able to spend one afternoon (and see Scott too!) the day before they left for Arizona.
I honestly couldn't have survived a week with my husband gone and my illness without you Er! Thank you so much for all of your help! We made some wonderful memories even though it was a different type of visit this time around, but we had so much fun and can't wait for our next visit!
We love you 3 so much! XOXO
