"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Easter Sunday

Easter morning started out with Mommy up and out of the house before the sun was even up! I was thrilled to be such a big part of our Easter services at Journey, serving so many kids and families, but I missed out on the DeMoor Easter brunch! I heard about it though, and the boys had fun with their cousins!
Once we all came back together as a family, we did the boys Easter baskets!
The boys were excited to see their treats!
We all took a much needed nap and then headed to Nana and Papa's house to continue our fun Easter day. The kids had a great time hunting for MORE eggs!
"I think I'll just sit here for a minute and open this egg now!"
Hannah got a new princess kite and the boys were so excited to fly such a pretty kite :)
Carson catching some major wind gusts!
Then it was time for the Frye family tradition of egg on the spoon races! DeMoor's vs. Dozier's! Bring it on!

Even Hadley got to participate! Way to go Hadley!
We had a nice visit with Great Grandma and Pepaw too! They really enjoyed watching the kids run and play!
The weather was simply perfect! We grilled out hamburgers and hot dogs and enjoyed playing outside for the majority of our day! It was so nice!

Aunt G soaking up some Hadley time...
Could her smile get any sweeter?!?!

As if they hadn't had enough treats already, popsicles in their lawnchairs ended the day! Love these 4 to pieces!
We hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating the resurrection of our Lord! Happy Easter!

All dressed up for Easter!

Here's our handsome boys all dressed up for Easter...

We attended the first of five services at our church as a family on Friday night. Here's our family Easter picture for 2013!
 Inseparable cousins before church service...
Mommy and her boys on actual Easter Sunday...
And my amazing hubby and I too...
Love my sweet family of 4!

Pony Rides for Kenya

A group from our church will be going to Kenya, Africa this summer on a mission trip. Close friends of ours are part of this trip, and to raise money, they gave pony rides for kids using their own horses. The boys had a great time riding Toby and Ruby!

Their last ride, they rode Toby together! So cute!
After a few rides, we went over to their house to see their miniature pony, Gingersnap. She was SO cute!
Tanner was still talking about Gingersnap days later!

Easter Fun with Nana

We had a fun Friday with Nana coloring eggs and spending time outside in the beautiful Spring weather! Best idea ever...color eggs outside with a 2, 3, and 4 year old. :)
This year Carson was a little more creative with his egg creations. He used the wax crayon and made designs and a "C" for Carson.
And now we wait for the dye to do it's thing!
Aunt Mamie helps the littlest ones...
Having so much fun!
Nana helped Carson take out his first egg and put it in the egg carton. It turned out great!
Look at those beautiful eggs!
Proud Easter egg makers!
Nana had a few fun activities planned for the kids after our eggs were done. She handed each grandkid a colored skittle, then they had to run around the yard and find that color Easter egg that she had put out and bring it back to her. They loved this!
Racing back to Nana so they could eat their skittle!

Then she had fun Easter crafts for them to do. Scissors, stickers, and more!

The fun wasn't over yet! We taught the kids the good ol' egg on the spoon race game so they were prepared for the family competition on Sunday! They loved it!
Loved our fun day with Nana!

Jacksonville trip!

It was Aunt Brooke's Spring Break this week too, so Jamie and I took the kids up to Jacksonville for the day! All 4 loaded in the van and ready for the 2 hour trek, they did great!! Sugar, DVD's, and toys may have had a lot to do with how well they did, but it was overall a great 2 hours!
Once we got to Jacob and Brooke's, the kids needed to run some energy out! We headed to a nearby park for some fun. Carson remembered this park from the last time we visited, and had a blast climbing up the nets.
Aunt Brooke swang her sweet little nieces too...
The boys rode around the lake on their bikes for awhile. TT loved racing Aunt Brooke.
Then the kids played a little soccer too.
Poor Aunt Brooke jammed in the backseat of the van with 4 kids. She must have read the Tarzan book 5 times on our way to meet Uncle Jacob for lunch!
The kids love Uncle Jacob and we were so happy to spend his lunch break with him! We went to Al's Pizza and it was so good, approved even by the kids!

Don't they look so good with 4 kids? :) I think with the way lunch went (can't even remember if I ate!) that they will hold off on having children for awhile, haha!
After lunch we put the littlest kids down for a nap and spent some quality time with Brooke while Carson watched a movie. It was a very enjoyable day! Jamie and I knew we were in for a chaotic 2 hours after all that fun, so we hit up Starbucks for a little boost of energy! Thanks for such a fun day Brooke and Jacob!
