"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

13 week bump!

Baby DeMoor #3 is beginning to pop out! This sweet angel is definitely letting me know that he/she is healthy and thriving. The nausea/sickness is still hanging on pretty strong, but we are pushing through...I have much to be grateful for! The pregnancy cravings are going strong. I would drink hot sauce from the bottle if my acid reflux wasn't so bad! I crave spicy and hot foods. Matt is over buffalo wings every other night!  I had to bring out the maternity pants this week as the belly is starting to expand (it could be the chicken wings!) At week 15, Matt and I went on our first date since June to the Cheesecake Factory. I've been too sick to eat out, so this was a super fun treat!
The boys pray every night that they will feel the baby kick. Just a little bit longer boys! They kiss my belly when they go to bed. My doctor appointments have been great, we are thankful for a healthy growing baby. Hooray for the beginning of my second trimester!

Best Daddy award!

I'm one blessed girl! When I was preparing for Carson's homeschool day, one of the math assignments was to make a graph out of poster board. Of course my hubby would volunteer to do it without thinking twice! He's such a good Daddy and my biggest supporter. Love him!

Springs!

Matt scored a deal on goggles and flippers for the boys at a garage sale, and they couldn't WAIT to try them out!
We headed to the Springs on Sunday afternoon to do a little exploring. Love my little fishies!

First day of ICS Kindergarten!

Our handsome little boy in his ICS uniform! Carson is ready for his first day of school.
We've been praying for a great first day and a smooth transition for all of us as we start this new journey. Carson will attend class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we'll homeschool on Monday and Wednesday. Carson was so excited, and so brave, and couldn't wait for his first day to start.
Mommy held it together for the most part! I can't believe our baby is starting Kindergarten!
Carson put his folders and backpack away in their proper place and found his desk like they had practiced at open house. He sat right down and got to work on his first assignment. I know he is in good hands and will make lasting friendships. Happy first day of school sweet boy! You make us so proud!

Kindergarten Open House

Carson had his class open house today at ICS! Meet Mrs. Callahan...the sweetest, craftiest, happiest person I've ever met! She is simply wonderful! She is going to be a perfect fit for our Carson!
Mrs. Callahan set up a super fun treasure hunt for the kids to do when they walked in. Each student had to grab a map and a bag for their gold coins they were going to collect.
The map had the students going around the classroom, putting away and learning where their student folders would go, meeting a new friend in the centers, writing in their math journals, creating a craft, and much more!
Carson's cubby...
One of the treasure map tasks was to find Mrs. Callahan and get a hug from her. She noticed Carson's tooth was missing and immediately took him over to the "I lost a tooth" chart on the wall!
He was the first one to sign in August that he lost a tooth, so special!
Tanner found the reading center and camped out for the hour that Carson and I were visiting with our class families. I think someone was worn out from preschool!
Mrs. Callahan had snacks and water for the kids. It was such a fun time getting to know his classmates and his teacher.
On our car ride home, the boys ate their super fun "back to school" snack mix that Aunt Jamie made them! Such a memorable back to school day!

Our first day of Kindergarten homeschool!

We are so excited to start our homeschool journey with Carson this year! I can't believe our oldest is in Kindergarten! Where does the time go? Carson is a very eager learner and picks things up super fast. He told me this morning after breakfast, "Ok mom, when we get home from taking Tanner to preschool, it's teamwork time!" Love him!
ICS makes it super easy on the parent! They plan all of your lessons out for you, you just have to follow the plan. I'm a "check-off" type girl, so I loved completing the tasks with Carson and checking it off. We started with Bible first, where we worked on the ICS character verse for the semester, then moved on to a boys devotion that I picked up over the summer. We looked for the verses together in the Bible and he highlighted the verse. He was so excited to have his own Bible. Such a sweet time together!
We moved on to Math and Language Arts where we took a break in between. He also had a fun "get to know you" craft he had to complete for school tomorrow, and we had fun putting that together.
We celebrated a great morning of learning by eating lunch at Panera, of course we picked up a cookie for our Tanner and headed to pick him up after lunch. So proud of Carson! This is going to be a great year!

Tanner goes to Pre-K!

Tanner has been SO excited all summer to go to Pre-K! He has drastically improved in all sorts of areas over the summer and we know he is going to thrive this year at CCC! We are so proud of our Tanner Matthew!
Tanner went right into his classroom and unpacked his backpack, lunchbox, and snack all by himself. He found his name at his desk and sat right down. He began working on his seat work and let Carson and I give him a big hug and kiss before leaving.
Tanner's teacher said he did wonderful today! He listened well, played with others, completed his assignments, and most of all, had FUN! We are so excited about his fun adventures in Pre-K this year!

Back to School Breakfast

I wanted to start a new family tradition this year on our first day of school. The boys LOVE breakfast (just like their Daddy!) so I set up a fun back to school table and got it ready after the boys went to bed.
The boys got to pick out what foods they wanted over the weekend when I went grocery shopping. They picked cinnamon rolls, pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. I got up bright and early so that it was ready in time before Daddy left for work. It was a fun morning together gearing up for our first day!
Love these little boys!

Tea Time!

Our sweet Hannah Grace turned FIVE! The girls had a fun afternoon tea time at Dickens Coffee and Tea Room in Lake Mary. It was a nice treat! Hannie looked so cute in her tea hat and birthday shirt!
She knew just what to do with her little tea cup...
Love my sweet girl!
After tea, we had a family birthday party at Will and Jamie's. Her cake was just the cutest!
Happy 5th Birthday Hannah! We love you!

DeMoor Party of FIVE coming soon!!!

We are so excited to announce that we are expecting baby DeMoor #3 due March 8, 2015!!
Our sweet family picture...
And our silly picture...how do you really feel about this Matt? :)
Our ultrasound at 8 weeks was perfect! The baby's heartbeat is super strong and everything was right on track. We were so excited to see our little peanut! After we heard the heartbeat and saw that everything was great, we went home and told the boys! They were SO excited and have been super sweet, kissing my belly, and praying for their baby brother or sister every night.
I had my first bout of sickness on my birthday, right around 8 weeks. It's been 3 weeks of non-stop sickness (why do they call it morning sickness?1?!) but of course our baby is worth every rocky moment! Thankfully the boys are old enough to understand and are a huge help. They come to my appointments and love hearing the baby's heartbeat! I love including them in this exciting time!
We can't wait to find out what we're having in 6 or so weeks! Thankful for another blessing to our family!

Carson loses his FIRST tooth!

It's happening! Our first baby tooth is gone! Carson has been wiggling his bottom tooth for a few days now. It was becoming hard to eat so Daddy talked him into pulling it. There were a few tears, but when it was all over, Carson was so excited!
He looks so cute with his new look! Perfect timing for his fun new Kindergarten adventures that start on Monday! Lookin' good Carson!
