"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

4th of July!

We kicked off our 4th of July with homemade handprint flag t-shirts! The boys loved getting creative, and they turned out super cute!
Then we headed to Pepaw's house in the Villages for some family fun. Jamie brought ingredients to make red, white, and blue drinks for the kids. They thought they were yummy!
We had a great time swimming in the pool. The kids have been little fish all summer and loved showing Pepaw their skills.
The boys crazy jumps...
Can't visit Pepaw's house without multiple rides on the golf cart!
Grandpa made his famous homemade ice cream, and Jamie and I made other festive treats as well. Hooray for sugar!
After all of our fun at Pepaw's house, we headed home for a family night with just the 4 of us. Matt made us his favorite all american cheeseburgers with sides. The boys LOVE cheeseburgers!
Then we headed outside for our own fireworks show. We visited a friends firework tent earlier in the day and picked up some sparkles, pop rocks, and other things Daddy could blow up!
Waiting for the fireworks show. Even Polar Bear watched!
We had a super fun day! Happy Birthday America!
