"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Wooden Playground

We had beautiful weather today and we took advantage of it by playing at the park. Matt and I took Carson to the wooden playground next to the place we were married at in Winter Park.

Carson doing his Yo Gabba Gabba dance on the swinging platform.
Carson loves when his Daddy pushes him in the swing.
Here's the wooden bridge we had lots of our wedding photos taken on. Mommy and her two boys just 3 years later! Who would have thought!
Running to his Daddy, they have too much fun together and I love watching them!

25 Weeks

Here's baby DeMoor at 25 weeks! We are excited about our 3D/4D ultrasound this Wednesday! We are still trying to decide on a name, but are narrowing it down.

Diaper cakes

One of my good friends, Amanda, is expecting her 2nd child in April. Another friend of mine, and myself, are throwing her a baby shower tomorrow. One of my "jobs" was creating a few diaper cakes for centerpieces. I was pleased with how they turned out, and she will be so excited to get over 4 packs of diapers within these 3 cakes!

Disney

Some of our friends have annual Disney passes, so I decided to take advantage of my annual Disney pass (aka Matt's Dad's employee pass) and have a magical day at the Magic Kingdom! We took the ferry boat over to the Magic Kingdom and Eli and Carson had some snacks to keep them busy.
Then it was off through the crowds to get to the Winnie the Pooh playground.
Carson and Landon had so much sliding.
After the playground, we jumped in line for "It's a Small World." Carson has been on this once before, and loved it just as much this time.
We attempted to ride the Jungle Cruise boat, but our kids were all getting a bit sleepy. Carson immediately fell asleep as soon as I put him back into his stroller.
After a little snooze, we headed to "Toon Town" to visit Mickey's house. We spotted another fun playground in Toon Town.
What a fun day with our friends!

Handsome boy

It's hard to get Carson to hold still long enough to get a good picture of him, but I couldn't help but post these couple of pictures of him. I picked up a pair of brown corduroy's from Gymboree and think he just looks so handsome! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

What a fun Valentine's Day we had! It started off with a yummy cherry cheesecake I made for Matt the night before Valentine's Day. Our morning started off with presents. Carson got a Yo Gabba Gabba book and bubbles, and Mommy got a cute Mickey Mouse card and candy from Daddy and Carson.
Carson made Daddy a fun craft!
After presents, Daddy made us his famous pancakes, but in the shape of a heart! Carson LOVES pancakes!
After church and an afternoon nap, some of the girls from our high school group came over. They were so sweet and told us last week at our small group that they wanted to plan Matt and I a Valentine's Day picnic, and even watch Carson while we went out.
They thought of everything! Cloth napkins, sparkling grape juice, candles, and delicious food.
We went to our favorite lake, Lake Lily, and had a nice dinner. Afterwards we went to the movies too. Carson was in good hands, and had a blast with the girls while we were gone.

Super Bowl Party

We had a small Super Bowl party for our high school small group. It's so much fun to have these kids over and hang out. They are a great group of kids and we've become like a little family!
Carson loves when they come over too and just has to show off his dancing skills, sliding skills, and all of his other fun tricks!

Vacuuming with Daddy

Just posting these pictures is making me laugh...Carson is quite the funny boy. He loves to "clean" and when Matt or I vacuum, he quickly grabs his vacuum Aunt Erica bought him for Christmas and begins to vacuum too. He knows all the motions to vacuuming, and just cracks us up!

22 Weeks

It is so hard to believe that I am 22 weeks today! Time is flying by so fast, and it's been so fun involving Carson in this pregnancy.
I had my 22 week appt. today, and Carson came along with Matt and I. He loves this Dr. set that we got him for Christmas, and his stethoscope just happened to be in the car from a road trip to New Smyrna that we took on Saturday. He insisted that he wear it in.
Our Dr. and the staff thought it was super cute, and so we let him play "Doctor" for a little while. Carson was very quiet when they let him hear the baby's heartbeat. The baby is doing wonderfully and so far my pregnancy has been great!
Carson says "baby" at least 5 times a day and wants to kiss my belly. Sometimes in not so appropriate places...like at the Grocery store where he lifted my shirt up in the aisle!
He's going to be a great big brother and we feel truly blessed!

Yo Gabba Gabba is mesmerizing!

Let me begin by saying I am not a fan of TV, and am not one of those people who stick their kids in front of the TV. However, there is a show called "Yo Gabba Gabba" that Carson finds fascinating, and now Hannah finds it rather fascinating as well! It comes on right before Carson takes a nap, and so to settle him down a bit, I let him watch a few minutes of it. Today, Hannah was captivated by this show.
I found it rather hilarious that both of them were staring at the TV in amazement, and I couldn't help but take a few pictures. :)

Playdate

We love our playdates with our friends! Our kids are all best buddies, and it's so fun to have them all over to play. This week Carly and Caelyn joined us for our playdate. Carson was very curious about Caelyn's disney princesses.

Carly and Caelyn loved Hannah, and Hannah loved all of the attention.
We had a couple of "uh-oh" moments with some crafts that we got out. Carson knocked over a stamp pad and had green ink all over him and all over the floor. Luckily, it was washable ink. Landon was very interested in coloring, and Carson joined in on the fun for a little too.

Fun Family Day

Life in our house for the past few months has been extremely busy. Carson is an active little boy, Matt has been busy with work and other events, and I'm just trying to keep us all afloat (while carrying our 2nd child!) :) Last Saturday was the first Saturday in a long time where we had nowhere to be and we took advantage of our family time. After Carson's first nap, Matt and I took him to Monkey Joes. He loves to jump and he wore himself and Matt completely out! Matt didn't let hundreds of screaming kids and obstacle courses that were even hard for him stop him from having fun with Carson. After an hour of non-stop jumping, Carson and Daddy were both wiped out! We took a little break in the game room, and then headed home for a nap. After a much needed nap, we headed to New Smyrna Beach to try a seafood restaurant that Matt has been wanting to try for awhile now. It was dark by the time we got there, so we didn't visit the beach, but the food was awesome at the restaurant we ate at, and Carson was such a good boy. Here's a video of him trying a lemon!
