"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Let's Go Rays!!!

Carson's first game was so much fun! It's different this year, they have to swing at the ball pitched by a "machine" so it's a little more intense than just hitting it off the tee like last year. Carson did a great job!
All of that practicing with Daddy and Papa paid off! He hit the ball and ran to first!
I love his stance in this picture! How do they just naturally do this?! It's so cute, must be a boy thing!
Carson ran the bases and paid close attention to the action! We were cheering so loudly, Tanner covered his ears most of the game!
Daddy giving direction on the field! This is serious! :)
Running into home plate! Way to go Carson! And way to go Rays!
Our post-game silliness...
Love being a baseball Mommy!

Baseball Opening Day

Carson is SO excited about another season of baseball! He did awesome at T-ball last year and was ready to move on to A-ball, a big step up! We are the RAYS team this season!
We found out at our very first practice that the little boy I used to nanny for, Alex, was on Carson's team! It has been so fun to be around their sweet family again! We will eat, sleep, and dream baseball until April, so it's fun to have friends with us!
All of the T-ball and A-ball teams lined up on the field to be announced...
They called each child up to the front for everyone to cheer for! Carson DeMoor, #5!
His team on the field...
Carson has some adoring fans already! Hannah and Hadley had their Rays gear on! So sweet!
Nana and Papa with their little ball player!
We can't wait for another fun season! Love my boys and all of the baseball fun! GO RAYS!

Valentine's Day/Rock Climbing

Thank goodness Hostess brought back the twinkie! The boys and I searched for a cute Valentine to give to their classmates and found this little minion idea on Pinterest. "You are one in a MINION Valentine!" My cricut came in handy to make the hearts, and Carson signed all of his.
We kept with our annual tradition of "I love you a LATTE" Starbucks drinks for their teachers on Valentine's morning too! The boys had a fun day at school and came home with lots of treats and sweet Valentine's!
My parents watched the boys on Valentine's night and Matt and I did something a little out of the ordinary for a Valentine's date! We went rock climbing! Surprisingly, it was my idea! We've got the Savage Race coming up at the end of March, and I thought it would be fun to give this a try. We took the 30 minute class that teaches you how to tie your knots, etc and were ready for our fun adventure!
Matt went first and took on quite a challenging wall!
We laughed so hard because the first time Matt started coming down, I was lifted into the air! I quickly realized I had to use some major muscle (or use the anchors on the floor) and got the hang of it!
This guy is quite the rock climbing machine!
I surprised myself at my ability to climb too! I started off a little hesitant because of the heights, and coming down was a bit scary too, but after a couple of times up, I was climbing to the very top!
We had such a fun time, definitely a "trust" activity for sure!
After a couple of hours of rock climbing, we hit up a Chinese restaurant for dinner. Simple but fun date night!

Nana's Birthday!

We had everyone over to our house to celebrate Nana's birthday on Sunday! We enjoyed the beautiful weather and played outside for awhile! So much fun!
The kids gave Nana their "Grandkids Garden" they made out of their handprints. She loved it!
Nana's favorite...brownie sundaes for dessert! Happy Birthday Nana! We love you!

We're back Sea World!

It's been a couple of years since we had Sea World passes. We decided to let our Science Center passes expire and take advantage of a great deal Sea World was having! We've been twice now and the boys love it! They are such animal lovers, so this is a fun place to be able to go! The new Antarctica ride to the penguin exhibit was so fun!
It was a little bit chilly inside the exhibit but it was worth it! We were right up close with the penguins!
The dolphin show was awesome!

It kept the boys attention for sure (all 3 of them!)
We saw sea lions...
Sharks...
Orka whales...
And a polar bear! It was a fun family day!
I picked up the boys early from school one day and we enjoyed an afternoon together. The weather was beautiful! They saw dolphins up close!
Manatees...
And of course the penguin ride and exhibit again! Here are our "cold" faces!
We watched the Sea Lion & Otter show this time. It was so cute!
We laughed at some super funny parts!
We're excited to have passes again and to be able to go as a family whenever time allows!
