"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

River fun

If you ask the boys what their favorite thing to do with their Daddy is, they will without hesitation, tell you "Rock Springs!" It has become their little boy activity to do if Mommy has to be away, and I love hearing their fun adventure stories. Matt took them out on his canoe for the first time this weekend, and they LOVED it!! So thankful Matt takes pictures when they're out. Love these!
They found a shallow area to swim and Matt helped them jump out of this tree.
Carson did a little fishing out of the canoe and caught a few!
Love that they are making such fun memories together as brothers!

Concession stand helper

Tanner has been such a champ this baseball season! He's had to sit through a lot of practices and a lot of games! Matt and I will be completely saturated in baseball come next season when BOTH boys will play! Matt let Tanner have some fun with him in the concession stand. He loved it!
What a fun season it's been with the Rays team! Carson is quite the hitter, and really developed some skills this year. We're excited about next season!
GO RAYS!

Dixie Youth Baseball Day

We had the opportunity, with Carson's baseball league, to participate in Dixie Youth Baseball Day. The Tampa Bay Rays invited several leagues in the Central Florida area to come to one of their home games and parade on the field. Carson couldn't wait!
They lined up all of the teams, the line was super long! The boys did a great job waiting for the parade to begin. Love our Rays team!
We walked out onto the big field! It was such a neat experience. The big screens on the back of the field were showing the kids up close and waving.
Daddy and Carson on the Tampa Bay Rays field!
After the parade, the baseball game started. We had fun cheering on the Rays!
We ate all sorts of baseball game food! Yum!
TT all tuckered out...
After the game, we just HAD to hang out on the west coach beaches! We had a fun afternoon in the sun!

All About Me

Carson has been waiting patiently to take home the class stuffed animal, Peanut, and be the student of the week! When it was his turn on Friday, he couldn't wait to tell me at pick up! Peanut comes home for the weekend and you take pictures of your fun time and write in the journal. Carson showed Peanut his favorite tree to climb in our yard...
How to ride a skateboard...
Peanut even got to go to the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game!
Peanut fit right in with Carson's other animal friends.
Then after our weekend with Peanut, we got to make an "All About Me" poster to share with Carson's class.
Carson did a great job creating his poster!
The poster hung in their classroom all week, and on Friday, I got to go in and read one of Carson's favorite books to the class. It was a special day!
