"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Valentine's Day 2013

Carson and Tanner both picked our their own Valentine's for Preschool this year. Carson went with Angry Birds and Tanner went with Jake and the Neverland Pirates! What a difference a year makes! Carson actually signed all of his Valentine's on his own this year.
Our big boy! Such good handwriting!
Along with our Valentine's, Carson signed his name on these cute little Valentine pencil holders that I printed off of one of my favorite blogs Happy Home Fairy! It says "Valentine, you are just write!"
Tanner brought treats for his friends, complete with his Valentine cards, bubbles, stickers, and candy!
We started off our morning with a Valentine's breakfast. Heart shaped pancakes (made by Daddy!) and red strawberries!
Matt and I set up the kids school table with a balloon, card, and M&M's that spelled out "We love you!"
After breakfast, it was time to head to school for our fun parties! We left a little early to get our awesome and loving teachers their favorite coffees from Starbucks. After we picked up their coffee, we taped "We love you a LATTE!" to them.
Carson is ready to spread some love!
The day before, I had Carson, Hannah, and Tanner tell me things they love about Nana and Papa. They signed their names to some of them, and then after I dropped the kids off at school, I drove out to their house to tape all the hearts onto their front door. The kids said the sweetest things, and Nana and Papa were REALLY surprised when they got home!
We wanted to do the same thing to Grandma and Grandpa but they were both home all day! Instead the boys wrote what they love about them and we hand delivered it the same day!
The kids had a blast at their Valentine's parties and were definitely ready to crash after a major sugar high!
The day after Valentine's Day we had our life group, and all the husbands from our group went in together to get all the wives a sweet cake and a rose for each one of us! So sweet!
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
