"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

The Bradley's Visit Florida

Our BFF's from Arizona came for 2 weeks during Thanksgiving! God knew that I would need my sweet best friend on this particular week to help in a very difficult and trying time for our family. As stated in previous posts, the month of October and November have been months of figuring out my vertigo issues. Erica literally flew in the day after I had a bad reaction to my third medication, and the day before Matt was scheduled to leave on an out of state hunting trip he had planned months in advance! Needless to say, it was perfect timing to have her by my side and help with the boys! What made this trip so special was that we had fun just staying home and playing instead of our usual running around town doing a million different activities. The boys truly treasured their fun times.
They played baseball, catch, played in the sandbox, and had a blast in the backyard...
Aunt Erica came prepared to do several different crafts with the kids. They made the cutest reindeer crafts using their handprints!
Erica drove me everywhere I needed to go. She picked the boys up from preschool, did grocery runs, made me lunch, and provided dinner one night too. I couldn't have survived the week without all of her help! One afternoon we ventured to the playground. Although I had to sit most of the time, she managed to swing all 3 of them all by herself!

We rented lots of movies and just hung out. It was so special to see the boys spend so much quality time together.
On the last night of Erica and Benson's whole week with us, we got the boys ready for bed, and Aunt Erica read Carson and Benson stories. Carson had acted a little funny in the afternoon on this day, but we didn't think much of it, until I checked on him before Erica and I went to bed and realized he had a fever. With Thanksgiving being the following week, and Erica and the rest of the Bradley family heading out to a fun beach house for the week, we needed to get Benson away from Carson. Our fun sleepover had to end (when it rains it pours!).
Thankfully we were able to spend one afternoon (and see Scott too!) the day before they left for Arizona.
I honestly couldn't have survived a week with my husband gone and my illness without you Er! Thank you so much for all of your help! We made some wonderful memories even though it was a different type of visit this time around, but we had so much fun and can't wait for our next visit!
We love you 3 so much! XOXO
