"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Green Meadows Petting Farm

Our Moms group took a day trip to Green Meadows Petting Farm. We were excited that some of the Dads were able to join us too. We had a great turnout and had so much fun!
Daddy helps Tanner milk the cow...
We spent some time with the baby chicks. The kids all passed them around. They were surprisingly very gentle with them!
Uncle Robbie and Tyler were able to join in on our fun day too. Tyler wasn't quite sure what to think about the baby chick at first, but soon gave it a little pet.
Mommy's turn!
The pigs were a big hit with the kids! This big hog was apparently very hungry! He carried his food bowl all around his pen and looked at us like we should do something about it!
They did get to feed the smaller pigs lettuce...
TT visiting the goats...
Our trail of Moms (and Dads) and our kiddos heading to the next animal...
My favorite part of the whole day was watching Tanner catch the animals all on his own. He is definitely his father's child! This kid charged at them and was successful everytime!
"See the duck Jeremiah?"
"I caught the duck!"
We had a great time on the hayride. Tanner imitating his silly Daddy by putting straw in his mouth! :)
Carson and Tanner both loved riding the horses!

Ugmo the "cow". We said he looked like half bulldog half cow!
We ended our fun farm tour with a picnic and play time on the playground. Carson had fun swinging with Uncle Robbie. What a fun day!
Here's a little video of Tanner catching a rooster. Oh this kid just cracks me up!
