"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Christmas Celebration at Sea World

Jamie and I took the kids to Sea World's Christmas Celebration on Friday. The park was decorated beautifully! They had a huge Christmas tree when you first walked in, and later on our way out, it was all lit up. In an earlier visit to Sea World with her friends, Jamie discovered an aquarium that we had never seen. You could actually walk on top of the glass floor and see the fish and giant sting rays swimming beneath you. Tanner was looking all around, and eventually crawled on the glass floor chasing the fish! Carson was in awe of the baby jellyfish. There was even a button on the side of the tank that you could push and it lit up the water so you could see the jellyfish more clearly. The last time we visited the Penguin encounter, the penguins were in their winter season and all of the lights were off. On this visit they were all out and so much fun to watch. On our way to the Polar Express, we passed some beautiful red Christmas trees. We were really excited about this Polar Express exhibit and I couldn't wait to show Carson the big steam engine. Unfortunately the big steam engine was quite scary to the kids and no one but TT would take a picture in front of it! We took them inside where they showed parts of the Polar Express movie, but we quickly left when the loud noises were a bit much for them. We made our way into the part where the "North Pole" animals were. We saw Beluga whales, polar bears, and walruses. Even Santa Clause was there! Carson and Tanner could have watched this walrus all day! What a funny walrus! He kept swimming backwards on his back towards the glass, then would quickly swoop up and give us a great look at his tusks! After our visit to the Polar Express, we walked to the Happy Harbor where the kiddie area was all decorated. The boys and I had such a fun time on the train! And Tanner loved his first time on the carousel!Such a big boy!The Christmas trees on the water were gorgeous all lit up!And the boys and I got our picture taken with Santa Shamu! After all of the kiddie area fun, we came upon a band playing Christmas songs. The kids danced their hearts out, and the band members were quite friendly with them. I took this video of Carson dancing. It makes me laugh everytime I watch it. The lighting is not the best, but if you watch all the way to the end, you'll see him really break out some moves, complete with toe tapping, and even takes his jacket off half way through. Love our little performer!
