"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Let the Christmas Season Begin!

The first Day of December means our Advent calendar comes out and we begin to really focus on the true meaning of Christmas, and spending time together as a family.
The boys were SO excited to hear me read what we would be doing! I love the expressions on their faces as I read to them Day 1! We would be doing our annual tradition, picking out our fresh Christmas tree, decorating, and making homemade chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate!
We were off to find the perfect tree! Surprisingly, they were a bit picked over, but we still found a good one! Tanner thought the Christmas tree tent smelled so good. He even said he wanted to eat the tree, haha!
These two just melt me...
After figuring out how to rearrange the furniture to get the tree all set up for decorating, we made homemade cookies and hot cocoa! We were ready to string the lights and get the party started! Love this tradition with our family!
Ready for a fun month of celebrating our Savior's birth!
