"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Campfire

We enjoyed 2 campfires this weekend with family! Our first campfire was Friday night at Steve and Lori's to celebrate Steve's birthday. We put all the kids to bed upstairs, then enjoyed the night breeze with a campfire next to the river. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to prove all the fun we had! :) Our second campfire was at my parents house after we visited the pumpkin patch. All the kiddos on the blanket. We roasted our own hot dogs, and had lots of yummy sides! The kids had a blast running around the yard, playing ball, and swinging. Hannah was a bit nervous around the fire, as she should be, and stayed a safe distance away pretending to roast her own marshmallow! Nana and Papa teach Carson how to roast his marshmallow... Mmmmm....smores!!! What a fun weekend!
