"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Parades, parades, & more parades!

We are just parade junkies this year! Saturday we hit 2 more parades! First, the Apopka Parade. We had fun seeing people we knew in the parade, and of course, Carson loved the school bands. Nana and Papa, and Aunt Jamie, Uncle Will, and Hannah came too. Nana and Papa have too much fun with their grandkids! Tanner was a sleepy little baby, and Aunt Mamie enjoyed her cuddle time. After naps, we headed for Winter Park. We stopped by the wooden playground next to the venue where Matt and I were married and let Carson run off some energy. Carson is pulling Matt through the tunnel. Daddy got a little stuck! Then we were off to the Winter Park Boat Parade. Santa was there handing out candy canes. Carson now asks for a candy cane everyday. Thanks Santa! :) We sat by the lake and watched the decorated boats go by. We weren't able to stay for the whole parade because it was getting late, but we enjoyed the few that we saw.
