"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

A Day at the Farm

We were so excited when we were asked by some friends to take a trip to Green Meadows Farm in Kissimmee. We knew Carson would have so much fun petting and visiting the farm animals. When we first arrived, there was a big red tractor for the kids to climb on. Carson's Papa takes him on tractor (aka lawn mower) rides and Carson knew just what to do.
We headed over to the chicken coop next. Matt was hilarious trying to catch a chicken for the kids to pet.
And how much fun...Carson gets to hold it too! :)
Then it was off to take a train ride. Carson was choo-chooing all the way there.
We visited Sugarlips the cow next. Our tour guide explained to the kids that they were going to get to milk the cow. Of course Carson had no idea what he was doing, but he did it anyway.
Carson loved petting the sheep. He was quick to want to hug their backsides though so we had to keep telling him to step to the side!
One of the reasons we were excited to go to the farm was to take a hayride. Carson was jumping all over the hay bails and loved all the bumps!
After the hayride it was time to visit the pumpkin patch. Carson picked out the best pumpkin!

Our little smiley pumpkin!
What a fun day on the farm!
