"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Grocery Store

Our latest grocery store visits have not been easy ones. If you look back a few months on our blog, you'll see a post where our sweet little angel is relaxing in the shopping cart while I shopped away stress-free. Now our grocery store adventures have become just that...an adventure! At certain times of the day, Carson will shop with no problems, but if you pick the wrong time of day, it can get REALLY bad! So bad that the past 2 or 3 times, I have almost left my full grocery cart in the aisle and walked out. So here's what Matt and I have come to... A happy little boy if 1) He's in his stroller, 2) He has his "Balloooooooonnnnnnn!!!" (His new favorite word), and 3) A sprinkle cookie from the Bakery. Oh my word...we are turning into "those" kind of parents! :)

  1. He looks like he's in a parade with the baallllooonn tied on! :) Is it bad that I only take my child to the store if she's asleep? :)
