"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Ecuador Children!

A portion of our churches Christmas offering this year went to planting a church in Ecuador. Compassion International and the church planter Stadia gave us the opportunity as a church family to adopt all of the children that would be attending the church being planted in Ecuador. We were so excited to be able to sponsor 2 children, both 10 days apart in age from Carson and Tanner.
Meet the newest members of our family, Lionel, age 3, and Julian, age 5. Matt and I thought it would be really neat for the boys to grow up writing to these precious boys in Ecuador. We hope that we will be able to meet them one day since our church is so involved with the church these 2 boys will attend in South America.
We explained to the boys how Lionel and Julian would really look forward to our letters and pictures. We got right to work writing and drawing pictures for the boys.
Carson and Tanner both wanted to know what Lionel and Julian's favorite animals were, so we wrote that in our letters and they drew them pictures of what their favorite animals were. So sweet!
We can't wait to hear back from our South America boys soon!
