"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Building a Racecar

Matt and I took the boys to Home Depot last week to buy flowers. While we were there, one of the sales associates let us know about their Kids Workshop happening on Saturday. They would be building a racecar in honor of the Daytona 500. Carson immediately perked up at the thought of anything racecar! I had actually forgotten about it Saturday morning, but thankfully Matt hadn't, and loaded Carson up after breakfast for a little Daddy/Carson time. They gave Carson his own Home Depot apron with his name on it... Matt said he was so impressed with how well Carson hammered all by himself! But he learns from the best, his Daddy! The finished product! Such a big boy! Home Depot gave Carson a certificate and a racecar pin to put on his apron. Matt and Carson had a fun morning! Here's a little video of Carson in action:
