"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Happy 4th of July!

After the beach and a long nap, we took the boys to Jeremiah's Italian ice for ice cream. Yum! Then we headed to Lake Eola to see the fountain light up and the fireworks show. It was super crowded and a bit humid after a major rain storm, but we had such a great time. While we waited for the fireworks show to begin, the boys did a little swinging...
The famous Lake Eola fountain was hit by lightning several months ago. After much work, they lit it up for the first time on 4th of July night just before the fireworks show began. It was even more beautiful than it was before! This is a daytime picture of it... Time for the fireworks! We popped some popcorn before we left for us to eat while the fireworks went off. We were a bit unsure what Tanner would do when the fireworks started going off. With him having tubes in his ears, his ears can be really sensitive, but he didn't mind a bit! At first he just stared up at the sky, then after a few minutes, he sucked his thumb and just watched. Carson and Daddy taking in the view... Happy 4th of July!
