"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Farm Day

For the Letter F at school this week, all the pre-k classes participated in Farm Day! All the kids (and teachers and parent volunteers) were encouraged to dress up in farm attire! Carson had no trouble posing in his farm gear!
The kids had made all sorts of farm animal crafts and the teachers even put up a paper barn in the
pre-k hallway! Perfect for picture taking! :)
Carson and his sweet teacher Mrs. Wilson!
I am room mom for Carson's class and volunteered for the first parent volunteer opportunity that came up! I was honored to read each pre-k class the book "The Carrot Seed" and then assist Mrs. Sellars (Carson's teacher assistant) with each class as they planted carrot seeds of their own.

Our big boy in the front row listening so well!
I loved helping Hannah plant her carrot seeds and snapped this cute picture of our farm girl...
There were several stations for the kids to participate in. This was the cow milking station...
And at this station the kids had to color farm animals, cut them out, and glue them to their barn. There was also a music area where they sang and danced to "Farmer in the Dell", an apple painting station, and an egg race.
Loved spending the morning at preschool and participating in Farm Day! Love my sweet little pre-k boy!
