We were definitely in need of a little relaxation time as a family, so we took some time over Labor Day weekend to stay at Daytona Beach! Our little condo suite was right on the water and a perfect fit for the four of us!
Our hotel had awesome stuff for the kiddos! It had a smaller kid water slide into a kiddie pool...
A playground....
A miniature golf course....
And a bigger slide that went into the big pool....
The boys love the water and they had a blast going from the pool to the beach.
At night we took them down to the pier to see the nightlife and get some ice cream!
Our 2 handsome boys...
Here's Carson's reaction to seeing the "slingshot chair" ride at the Boardwalk! He wanted to watch it shoot off over and over!!!
The boys are at such an easy age to do an overnight! They sleep so well in the same bed together, it's awesome! Matt and I had fun reading stories with them and all sleeping in the same room together.
The next morning, we opened our window and watched the sunrise! It was beautiful! The beach was so peaceful, not a single person on the beach.
Tanner read some books while the sun came up and Matt and I made breakfast. Such a good little boy!
Shortly after breakfast we were in our suits and ready to spend the whole day at the pool and beach!
Daddy and TT swimming...
Nana, Papa, Aunt Brooke, and Uncle Jacob joined us for the day too! Tanner was showing off his swimming skills for all the ladies at the pool!
We set up a canopy and had our own little spot on the beach for the day!
Building drip sand castles with my boys...
Daddy had fun teaching the boys how to play mini golf!
Before everyone left, we hit up an ice cream shop across the street from our hotel. It didn't take long before both boys were asleep on Nana and Papa's laps! Swimming and sun equals tired boys!
After we packed up to go home and left the hotel, we had dinner at an awesome restaurant on the water called Caribbean Jack's! The food was amazing and the boys had so much fun looking at all of the boats!
Thankful for a fun little getaway together!
