It's hard to believe another year has gone by! Time seems to be going by faster and faster! We kicked off our January 2013 with our sweet little angel needing his second set of tubes. He did great, and they are still in and helping him tremendously. We are hopeful after this set falls out that we will remain ear infection free!
We also signed Carson up for his first sport in January! Daddy took on the role of head coach and Mommy took on the role of Team Mom. We were excited to pick our team name and of course went with the St. Louis Cardinals.
In February, my amazing husband made Valentine's Day 2013 one of the best Valentine's Day surprises I have had in the 15 years we've been together! He planned my entire afternoon and evening, and I was so shocked by everything I was pampered with!
We ended our evening at Antonio's Restaurant and it was so delicious! I am definitely thankful for my amazing husband! He loves me so much more than I deserve and I count my blessings everyday!
February 2013 also brought Carson's very first T-Ball game. He was SO adorable and played SO well! He listened, went after the ball, and was a great hitter. We were so proud of our little ball player!
February also brought a big milestone in my life! My very first half marathon. I trained for months and picked the Disney Princess Half Marathon for my first race. Disney does it up right and I was over the moon excited to get to experience one terrific race!
Race morning...
I shed MANY tears of joy that I actually completed 13.1 miles! It felt amazing!!
My biggest fans!
We stayed at the new Art of Animation Disney Resort over race weekend and had a blast! We went to Magic Kingdom the first day, and enjoyed the hotel to it's fullest.
In March, I ran one of my favorite races to date, the Gate River Run in Jacksonville. My sister-n-law, Brooke, invited me to run in her very first 15K and the views on the bridges were breathtaking!
I felt honored to run alongside of her! She did awesome and we had so much fun together!
March of 2013 also brought on probably one of the biggest changes and blessings we've had all year. God put a new business venture in front of Matt and it has changed our lives. Matt has thrived in so many areas because of this change and we are SO proud of him for prayerfully seeking God and making a change for our family and for himself. God is good!
We were busy in April with lots and lots of T-Ball games! We thoroughly enjoyed each game and practice! The kids were so cute, and Carson learned so much. He especially liked his Daddy being the coach, and his family cheering him on!
April of 2013 was also the big Teddy Bear Triathlon at Preschool that the kids always look forward to! Both boys did so great, and Carson won first place for his age division!
May 2013 brought T-Ball season to a close. We were so proud of our little team and I was extremely proud of Matt for being the super patient and encouraging coach he was. Such a good Daddy!
Carson had lots of people cheering him on at his last game of the season!
Mother's Day was super special this year. We spent it in Anna Maria Island with Matt's mom, and his sister and her family. We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed the sunset afterwards.
My boys treated Mommy like a queen on Mother's Day. They know how much I love the beach and sunsets and were so excited to take me here!
The man that treats me like a princess!
Matt wanted to run his first half marathon before he turned 30, so on the first day of June 2013, we ran the Masters of all Terrain together! We ran through grass, sand, rock, all kinds of terrain, and Matt rocked it! I was thrilled to be apart of such a special moment for the both of us!
In June of 2013, Matt turned the BIG 3-0! We had a small party with the boys in the morning, then had a great time at Matt's favorite restaurant, the Cheesecake Factory, with lots of our close friends and family for dinner.
Tanner turned 3 in June! Our smart, adventurous little TT! He is growing so much and learning so much and we are so proud of him! He loves to catch lizards, fish, and be 100% boy! He'd play in the mud all day if we'd let him! He is also a cuddler, which makes this Mommy happy!
We took him to Animal Kingdom for his birthday since he has such a love for animals, and he had a fun time at the Rainforest Cafe for his special birthday lunch.
In June, I was able to fly to Arizona to celebrate my best friend Erica and I's 30th birthdays together. We stayed in Sedona for a few days and it was such a special time! We had a blast, spent some time relaxing, reminiscing, and just enjoyed being together in such a beautiful place. I am blessed beyond words by my sweet soul sister Erica, and will treasure the memories we made in Sedona always!
In July, we welcomed another cousin to the DeMoor family! Emma is the daughter of Matt's brother Robbie and his wife Jessica. Emma is the sweetest little angel and we adore her!
There was no escaping it! In July of 2013 I too turned the BIG 3-0!
We had dinner at Portobello's Italian Restaurant in Downtown Disney with my family. It was so good!
And I got to eat my birthday dessert at my favorite place on earth, the Ghiradelli ice cream shop!
In August it was back to Preschool for the boys! We were blessed once again with amazing teachers! They were so excited to get to know their new friends!
In September of 2013, we took a mini vacation to the beach for Labor Day weekend! It was so relaxing. We all got up to watch the sunset together, and enjoyed some fun in the sun for a few days!
We were also REALLY excited in September that we were allowed to finally shout it from the rooftops that we would be getting another addition to the Frye family!!! Brooke and Jacob are due March 1st 2014!
September also made our baby turn FIVE! I just couldn't believe it!
Our animal loving boy wanted a Wild Kratts birthday party with a coral snake cake made by Mommy, and that's just what he got!
We took them to Lion Country Safari for his birthday too and had a blast!
October of 2013 brought on a big change for Carson. He was referred out to a pediatric ophthalmologist after his pediatrician was a little concerned with his vision at his 5 year old check-up. He did so good at the doctor.
After being there for several hours, it was conclusive that Carson would need to wear glasses. He was such a trooper and looks super handsome! People call him "Little Professor".
We also celebrated Hadley's 1st birthday in October!
Had a blast at the Pumpkin Patch...
And dressed up as Toy Story characters for Halloween!
Matt and I also attended my favorite country artist, Luke Bryan's concert and had a BLAST together!
In November, Matt and I celebrated 7 years of marriage! We spent a few days in Naples, Florida and enjoyed time away together relaxing!
Thanksgiving in Ocala was wonderful! We enjoyed time spent with family and the weather was beautiful!
We got to feel baby Lily kick for the first time! So neat!
And the boys had their first ice skating experience on the Ocala downtown square.
In December we enjoyed our annual trip to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights at Hollywood Studios! Always a favorite!
We are so thankful for God's provision and blessings on our family this year. Happy New Year!
