Carson has been earning good listening stickers for over 2 months now. We had to come up with a system that worked for him to encourage good listening at home, as we were having a little bit of a challenge. Thankfully, he took right to the sticker chart method and once he filled up his entire chart, he knew he got to go ride the racecars! Friday was the day he hit all 25 stickers and he couldn't wait until Sunday afternoon when we took him to the tracks. Proud boy with his completed sticker chart!
I rode with Carson first and we had so much fun! Just listening to him yell things like "A sharp turn to the left Mommy! Keep your wheels on the track!" had me in stitches laughing! He takes his racing seriously, all thanks to the Disney Cars movie!
Carson made sure we stayed in front of Daddy and Tanner. And everytime we passed them, they looked like they were having a fun time too!
After one time around, Carson insisted on riding the next time with Daddy. Tanner and I watched their racing fun from the stands. Matt gave Carson a lesson on steering, and it was quite humorous to watch. You could always tell when Matt was giving Carson a turn when the racecar would quickly jerk back onto the track. Love those father/son moments!
After two times around the track, the boys watched people race on the "slippery track".
After the racecars, we went out for ice cream. Way to go Carson on completing your sticker chart! Now off to earn more stickers...
