A Day Out With Thomas
Carson's love for Thomas the train has continued to grow! For his 3rd birthday, we researched and researched to find Thomas the train, or any train all over Florida to ride and didn't have much luck. Although the Disney train was so much fun, it was nothing like riding the "real" Thomas the train. We were thrilled when the traveling "A Day Out With Thomas" was going to be making a stop in Tampa. There was so much to do! Our first stop was at the bounce house. The boys had a great time jumping... Next we spent some time watching the electric trains go by on the tracks. There were all of Carson's favorite trains zooming by... Then they had a whole tent set up with train tables, and other activities. Both Carson and Tanner built tracks and played trains for quite awhile. Love my Thomas loving boy!!! Matt and the boys had too much fun playing in this bubble display. They had soapy bubbles all over them! Then it was our turn to ride Thomas! We loaded the train and the boys blew their whistles. Carson and the train engineer... The train ride was about 25 minutes and took us through some countryside. It was very pretty! Carson got a sticker for riding the train and put it on his map where you were to collect stickers from different areas of the park and earn a prize at the end. Matt and Carson in front of Thomas the train... When Thomas was waiting for more passengers to load, you could wait in line and get your picture professionally taken in front of Thomas. Matt took this one of the boys and I, but the professional photo of all 4 of us is awesome! I can't wait to get it printed! After our fun ride on Thomas, we had more fun sliding on the inflatables... And riding the tractor train ride... Our last stop was a visit with Sir Topham Hatt, something Carson had been looking forward to! We had such a great day and loved making these special memories with our boys!
