"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." Deuteronomy 4: 6-9

Father's Day 2013

Our boys have the greatest Daddy in the whole world! As they get older, they will really see why. Matt spends every free moment with his family. He knows what it means to spend quality time with his kids, investing in them, and teaching them Godly values. Matt pays attention to their every need and the boys LOVE their Daddy!
I had to plan ahead for Father's Day this year. I went to Arizona to spend some much needed time with my best friend of 17 years, and the week Erica and I were offered a free time share in Sedona to celebrate our 30th birthdays, just so happened to fall over Father's Day weekend. Being the selfless person Matt is, he insisted that I still go to Arizona! I wanted to make his day with the boys special, so I planned out their entire day! D is for Dad...
Donuts, Deli Sandwiches, Diving at the Springs, & Deep Dish Pizza for Dinner...
The boys ate up the donuts, got subs for lunch, and headed to the Springs for some tubing! I loved seeing the pictures of their fun day! The boys now think Rock Springs is the coolest place ever and talk about it all the time!
They tubed down the river and even saw a baby alligator!
Picnic lunch on Father's Day...
Happy Father's Day to the best husband and father ever! We love you so much!

Swimming with the Moloney's

Sharon and the kids came into town and we jumped at the chance to spend some time with them! We went swimming at Marie's friend's community pool. Sarah and Michael are so good with the boys, and Carson and Tanner love hanging out with them! Sarah helped Tanner swim...
And Michael and Carson were swimming buddies!
We soaked up the sun and swam for hours!
All of that swimming made us hungry! We had a nice picnic by the pool to end our morning.
Loved spending time with them!

Celebrating TT with the Frye's and Dozier's!

My family threw Tanner a summer birthday cookout! TT loved his birthday hat and sunglasses!
Nana and Papa with their boys...
Tanner loves to rock and has to be near Nana at all times! Even when she was rocking Hadley to sleep, he had to be in the chair, sucking his thumb, and rocking with them! So sweet!
After our yummy hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the fixins', we sang happy birthday to our little 3 year old! Such a ham!
Blowing out his candle...
Nana made a cake, and ice cream sundaes! The kids loved the sweet treats!
And so did baby Hadley!
After dessert, Tanner opened up his presents and loved his trains, train set, and water squirter!
Tanner had such a fun birthday weekend!

More celebrating...Animal Kingdom!

We wanted to take Tanner to do something fun for his birthday. If you know Tanner, his top 3 favorites are animals, trains, and dinosaurs! Animal Kingdom fit all 3 of these! So Grandma got us in the Saturday after his birthday!
First up, the train! Tanner had the opportunity to say "All aboard!" on the loud speaker like Carson did on his third birthday, but Tanner is a little more shy. We got an up close view at the steam engine though, and had a fun time riding it to and from the animal petting area.
Tanner LOVES animals! He is always picking up lizards, bugs, and jumps at the chance to pet a dog, or any animal for that matter. Here he is with his little goat friend...
The last time we came to Animal Kingdom, Tanner actually laid down beside the pig on the ground! Reunited with his dirty piggy friend...
The boys loved brushing the pigs and goats...
Then we headed to the animal safari jeep tour!
All of the animals were wide awake and ready to pose for pictures!

Elephants...
Our tour guide was SO excited when we pulled up to the lion area and noticed they were actually awake and out on the rocks! We couldn't wait to see them and were able to get a great view!
After the fun safari ride, we went to Rainforest Cafe for lunch! The boys thought the inside was SO cool!
There was a huge aquarium to look at while we waited to be seated.
Our table was right under the giant gorilla. It was so fun to see the lights go off and on and hear the "rainstorm" while we ate.
Happy boy!
Lunch was delicious and the boys did great! They were very entertained by all there was to look at.
Then the awesome waitresses brought TT a special birthday cupcake and sang to him! Can't believe how big he is!
Our final stop was in Dinosaur World where we played on the dinosaur playground, dug for fossils, and rode the Triceratops spinning ride.
On our way out, we ate yummy (and messy!) Mickey ice cream bars to cool off!
Such a fun family day celebrating our sweet Tanner Matthew!

Tanner turns THREE!

It's so hard to believe that our baby boy is turning THREE! It seems like yesterday we were introducing Carson to his baby brother. Time flies when you're having fun, and we are sure having fun with TT in our lives!

After Tanner went to bed, I decorated the outside of his door and blew up a bunch of balloons for the hallway.
He was so excited to see it when he opened his door the morning of his birthday!
Carson wanted to be apart of making his brother his special birthday breakfast. Sprinkle pancakes and eggs, TT's favorite!
We sang Happy Birthday to Tanner and he ate on the "It's your Special Day" plate!
After breakfast, we loaded up in the car and headed to the beach! It happened to be "National Donut Day" too so we made a quick stop at Dunkin Donuts for some munchkins! What a birthday treat...free donuts!
We had so much fun at the beach! The kids made drip castles and dug deep rivers!
The three musketeers...they love each other!
We had more sugar, birthday cookies on the beach!
After the beach and a nice nap, Daddy came home and we let Tanner open his big present from us. A big Chuggington train track!
Tanner was SO excited to play with his new train and tracks!
Happy 3rd Birthday Tanner Matthew! You light up our life with joy, fun, and energy!
