Dyeing eggs
What a difference a year makes! I can't even tell you how excited I was when we started the process of dyeing eggs and realized what a perfect age Carson is at to do this with. Last year was a bit of a disaster! Ha! He was really excited and so into it!
He did such a great job "dropping" the eggs into the different colors and waited patiently for each egg to be done.
When the eggs were ready to come out of the dye, Carson put each egg onto the drying rack.
After they were dry, Daddy and Carson decorated the eggs. So fun!
The finished product!
Easter Egg Hunt
We were so excited for the Easter Egg Hunt at Field of Fame this year! Before the hunt began, we visited the Easter Bunny.
Hannah and Carson were a bit tired but they were still ready to find some eggs!
Nana and Papa were excited to help them get started! Ready...set...
Go! Carson did such a great job finding eggs and putting them in his basket.
Eventually he got curious as to what was inside of the eggs and needed to sit down and open some!
Tanner was walking all around and finding eggs too! He had a blast knocking them together. I love this picture!

What a fun morning!

Good Friday
Easter is truly one of my favorite times of the year. Celebrating Christmas and Jesus' birth is of course a top favorite time of the year too, but celebrating the resurrection of our Lord is the entire reason we have a relationship with Jesus Christ. My cousins Alex and Maddy were baptized on Good Friday and I couldn't think of a better way to kick off the Easter weekend than with that!
My grandmother was recently in the hospital and had to stay at an extended stay rehab center and was able to get out just in time to attend. It was so nice spending time with our family!

Prom
Matt and I were asked by some teens in our high school small group if we would be willing to drive a group of them in the church van to prom! We were honored to be apart of such a special day for them. Matt took his job as chauffeur very seriously! He dressed up in a suit, and made sure the church van was spic and span! My wonderful parents took the boys for the night, and Matt and I had a blast on "prom night"! The handsome chauffeur...
We wrote "Prom 2011" on a couple of the windows. This got quite the honks and waves on the interstate!
I made sure the kids had water bottles, and of course candy, for the drive there. Everything was gone by the time we arrived - taking pictures for an hour will do that to teens!
My handsome date for the evening...
The group...
Their prom was held at the Gaylord Palms - such a beautiful hotel!
So ready to party...but they allowed me to take one more picture!
After we dropped the kids off, Matt and I did a little Disney hotel hopping! We had about 4 1/2 hours to kill (who are we kidding...we were in heaven!) before we had to pick them back up. Our first stop was the Boardwalk where we walked around for awhile.
Then we headed to the Yacht and Beach Club for dinner. After dinner we layed in the lawn chairs on the "beach" of the Beach Club and watched the fireworks.
My favorite moment of the night was when we went to the Polynesian Resort and Matt worked some major magic with our favorite restaurant Ohana. Ohana is an all you can eat restaurant and they serve the most delicious dessert ever...Banana Fosters...yum!! Somehow, my amazing hubby convinced the restaurant next door to Ohana to allow us to order my favorite dessert that is exclusive to Ohana at their restaurant! I was super excited!
After our wonderful date, we headed back to the Gaylord Palms to pick up the kids and drove them back home. What a fun night!

Tricycle cutie
Looking at these pictures really makes me realize how big Carson is getting! I can't believe he is old enough to ride his tricycle so well! (On a side note...we always make Carson wear shoes! Ha! Carson and I came out to visit Daddy in the yard after bath time when he decided he needed to take his tricycle on a quick spin!) :)
Down the street he goes. He likes to ride to the stop sign and back, sometimes we get there quickly, and sometimes we get there slowly. :)
Headed back...
I did it!
Such a big boy!

Birthday fun!
We packed in the fun for Jamie's 31st birthday last week! On the night of her actual birthday, my mom and I took her to dinner, and then to see Hello Dolly at Lake Brantley High School. We had a family friend who was a part of the performance and it was such a fun girls night out!
Jamie, Hannah, and I had a fun girls morning going around to lots of awesome garage sales in a community garage sale near our neighborhood. We laughed because by the time we were finished, Hannah was hidden in the backseat by all of our fun finds! Here's Carson with his "new" $3 toy! He was thrilled!
Saturday night we had a family party for Jamie. She requested breakfast for dinner, one of our favorite family meals! Yum! After lots of fun playing....
Jamie, Carson, and Hannah dug into the chocolate icing on her birthday cake!
Happy Birthday Aunt Mamie! We had so much fun celebrating YOU!

10 months
Our little TT is 10 months old today! Tanner is growing up so fast. He can now wave "bye bye" and is learning baby signs. He must know he's getting bigger because he hardly wants anything to do with baby food! :( We talked to our pediatrician about introducing soft foods since he has 6 teeth, and he was okay with that, so at every meal we offer him baby food as well as soft real food. Of course...he loves it...even peas!
He knows his snacks too! And loves to take the lid off and dive right in!
Tanner is on a great nap schedule which works well with Carson's nap schedule too. Needless to say, Mommy gets a little bit more done during the day with them both napping at the same time in the afternoon. He is still a thumb sucker, even when he's sleeping!
Although Tanner is quite the Mama's boy, he loves his Daddy so much too! He will yell "DaDa!!" from his crib, or whenever he sees him.
Tanner is getting a bit more mischievious! He likes to climb onto the dishwasher when I am loading or unloading it.
Tanner got his first pair of big boy walking shoes since he's standing on his own now and is ready to take off. I'm in no hurry to see him do that just yet! :)
Another blessed month with our Tanner Matthew!
